Mental illness is a long term battle, each individual copes with it differently. Establishing key triggers is important for staying better.
July 16,1918 to July 17 1919 William Roberts and Florence Dowd exchanged a series of letters while William was still in the air force. Once discharged William heads to Bermuda where he wrote his proposal letter to Florence while she was still in America. On October 8th, 1919 William and Florence got married.
I followed the love story of my great grandparents by retracing their steps and exploring my family archive.
This was a collaboration with Emma Steele. I was asked to photograph her final pieces and knit samples she created over her final major project.
What is consent? Who becomes the victim? Emma Steele explores the concept of consent though her knitted art based project. Based around personal issues and her own views on femininity Emma creates art based textiles piece. Each piece is to create a story; to create a statement. Consent; a strong word, but not given enough.

Social media has become a large aspect of our everyday lives. As a society we have become addicted to technology and social media apps.
This was a group project with Niamh Mitchell Mulhall, Iines Haukisalmi and Kimberly Hewitson based around the notion social media apps have become an addiction and can be viewed as a drug.

How much of an effect does alcohol play on someones perspective and reality of the world. The use of alcohol and drugs is usually for recreational use. Reality is manipulated and a new world is created.
